Slinger Signaller
The Slinger Signaller acts as the eyes and ears of the crane operator, who may not always have full visibility of the lifting area. Our fully trained slingers work closely with site management and follow all instructions to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Attaching and detaching loads to and from the crane lifting equipment
- Selecting and using the correct lifting accessories and equipment in line with the planned lift
- Preparing and checking the landing area for safe load placement
- Slinging and signalling loads and controlling their movement
- Directing and guiding the safe movement of the crane on site
